I am a multi genre DJ with 19 years experience filling dance-floors across the world. I am experienced in mixing anything and everything and making sure the dance-floor stays rocking.

My name is Marc and i'm a professional DJ with 16 years experience playing at clubs, bars and festivals.

Music is my life and I have been very lucky to have a successful career playing music I love to people that want to party.

When i'm not playing music you can catch us attending gigs or travelling to festivals in our VW Campervan.

In 2015 I got engaged to my beautiful wife Laura in Venice (what can I say, i'm just an old romantic)

We started attending wedding fayres and seeing all the great suppliers on offer. It struck me that the industry has so many amazing ideas to help make a wedding as quirky and personal as you can imagine, but the DJ's on offer were all the same cheesy DJ's or DJ companies with all the equipment but none of the experience.

This is when I decided to use my own experience and passion for music to give weddings the packed dance-floors and memories that they deserve.

I'm a full time DJ and this is my only job. I feel this gives me time to fully involve myself with your wedding to ensure the music is as perfect as it can be.

When i'm not rocking wedding dance-floors, I am entertaining crowds in clubs and bars.

I have been DJ'ing for over 18 years now and can honestly say I really love what I do.

I have DJ'd with, for and worked alongside some of the biggest artists in the world including Kings of Leon, New Order, Dua Lipa, Kaiser Chiefs, Liam Gallagher and Beady Eye, Kasabian and many many more.

I have DJ'd and held residencies at some of the biggest venues in Birmingham including the 02 academy, 02 institute, The Rainbow Warehouse, Subside, Snobs nightclub and have also been lucky enough to DJ at various festivals, including Glastonbury. I have played in front of thousands of people and headlined in Sydney. I have been very lucky to work with and for some of the worlds biggest artists including Kings Of Leon, Kasabian, New Order, Liam Gallagher, I have supported Dua Lipa and many many more.

For 14 years I ran a famous night at legendary Birmingham venue "Actress & Bishop" playing a real mixed bag of music from Indie, rock and hip hop to dance, funk, soul and rock 'n' roll and pop. This is where I learned how to really mix between genres seamlessly whilst keeping the dancefloor packed. These were always my favourite nights, having to be prepared to think fast.

PRICES

My pricing plan is simple and transparent. The price you see is the price you pay. It doesn't matter if your wedding is in a village hall, a huge marquee or a stately castle.

I won't up-sell you extra lighting or a gold package. I will bring the best equipment and lighting to suit your wedding.

What you're getting when you book with Audiohead, is a DJ with over 18 years experience filling some of the biggest dance-floors in the UK and abroad.

4 HOUR PERFORMANCE

£750

This is the time I am behind the decks smashing your dance-floor and bringing the party to life.

Additional performance hours can be added at £50 per hour.

ALL DAY
PACKAGE

£200

This can be added to the performance fee. This can include;

Early setup at any time that suits you
Background music for ceremony
Specially created playlist as background music for drinks and meal
Use of wireless microphones for speeches

MILEAGE

Mileage is charged 25p per mile. This simply covers the fuel for me to get to you and get home. You can work this out from google maps using postcode CV47.

Very occasionally an accommodation charge may need to be added. You can read more about this

FAQ

WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

We are based in the Midlands but we cover anywhere in the UK and abroad. Last year I DJ'd weddings from North Yorkshire to Cornwall and East Anglia. Wherever a party is needed we will be there!!!

VENUE ACESS?

I will need access to your venue no later than one hour before the performance time. For a bigger set up I will need longer but this is judged on a per booking basis (no two weddings are the same).
Generally I will need an hour after finishing to pack down and leave the venue.

FAQ

HOW DO I BOOK YOU?

A 50% deposit is required and a contract signed to ensure the booking is secured. The deposit is non refundable and the remaining 50% is required no later than 4 weeks before the wedding day. The contract is pretty simple and just keeps us both covered.

WHAT EQUIPMENT WILL YOU BRING?

I only use the industry best equipment for the best sound and lighting. This means the latest technology DJ controller, an Apple Macbook pro and a state of the art RCF sound system.
In terms of lighting I like to keep it professional and use moving heads and wash lighting (so no tacky red and blue dots or lasers all over the place)

CAN WE PICK SOME OF OUR FAVOURITE SONGS?

Absolutely!!! It's your special day and the music should reflect you both. I want to soundtrack a defining day in your life and I want it to be perfect for you. Some DJ's schedule one meeting with you but we encourage you to stay in contact with us as much as you like. We'll meet you as often as you need to build up a playlist of everything you want to hear on your wedding day and just as important find out exactly what you don't want to hear. You're booking a wedding DJ but we like to think you're also making a friend that's gonna be with you all the way to the wedding day.

DO YOU TAKE REQUESTS ON THE NIGHT?

My experience in clubs and bars means I'm very accustomed to taking requests and mixing them perfectly to keep the dancefloor rocking. If the request is something you've specifically asked me not to play then i will politely inform them so and try get a more appropriate request so they're still happy.

ACCOMMODATION

Very occasionally an accommodation fee will need to be charged. This is generally if a wedding is 3 hours or more away from my home and it's an all day wedding or a late finish. This is £80 which gets me a basic motorway hotel room nearby.

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS

All of my equipment is PAT tested annually and this is always available for you and your venue to see. I also have public liability insurance that is both viewable online and i can print off a copy to send to your venue if required.
